Ronald R. Reed, 75, of Wooster, died March 3, 2010, at his residence. Ron was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Wooster, to Clen D. Reed and Effie Reed Schaum. He graduated in 1952 from Northwestern High School and hauled milk for 50 years. He attended West Hill Baptist Church and was a longtime member of the Oldsmobile Club of America. He collected cars and enjoyed going to car shows. Ron seemed to know the ancestry/history of most people he came in contact with and enjoyed the friendship of many. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are his wife, LaDonna Reed, whom he married in 1955; daughters, Donna Swartz of Wooster and Rita (Jerry) Flinn of West Salem; grandchildren, Brandon (Christine) Flinn of Texas, Leah (Saul Mendez) Flinn of Veracruz, Mexico, Brady Flinn of Nebraska, and Christina and Jonathan Swartz of Shreve; great-grandson, Andrew Flinn; brother, James (Kathie) Schaum of Mansfield; sisters, Mary Lynn (Larry) Frary of Seville and Susan (Mike) Wantz of Crooksville; and his beloved dog, Mack. Services were held March 8, 2010, at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial was in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
