Patricia Galehouse obituary

                        
Patricia Ann Galehouse, 58, of Marshallville, died Jan. 25, 2010, at Akron City Hospital, following a four-year illness. Patricia was born July 25, 1951, in Kittanning, Pa., to the late Robert and Roselyn Kilgore. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and held numerous certifications for her vocation. She was a case manager at Community Health Center and a case worker at the Department of Job & Family Services in Akron, and was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Marshallville, and a former member of Women of the Cauldron, Tallmadge. Patty loved to collect angels, as they were a great source of comfort to her. She loved to dance and spend time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She lived a simple life of loving everyone she knew. Surviving are her husband, Kim Galehouse, whom she married in 2005; sons, Bobby (Sandy) Buchner of Akron, David Galehouse of Wooster, Jeremy (Jennifer) Galehouse of Apple Creek, and Larry (Tiffany) Galehouse of Lakeville; daughters, Misty Galehouse of Wooster and Lisa Galehouse of Apple Creek; 14 grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Michael, Joseph, Tyler, Griffin, Damien, Dillan, Olivia, Alicia, Amber, Skylar, Kyra, and Jaydin; sister, Christine (Edgar) Frock of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert C. Buchner; second husband, Carl Nicewonger; and sister, Kathy Myers. Services will be held Jan. 29, 2010, at 8 p.m., at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 7404 Coal Bank Rd., Marshallville, with Rev. Timothy J. Keeler officiating. Cremation will take place following services. Friends may call at the church from 5:30-8 p.m. prior to the funeral. Auble Funeral Home, Orrville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
