Rebecca K. "Becky" Hobson
Rebecca K. "Becky" Hobson, age 74 of Dalton and formerly of Orrville, died Friday, June 14, 2019, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a sudden illness.
Becky was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Frankfort, Indiana to the late Paul and Evelyn (Howe) Wells. She married Bernard "Eugene" Hobson on Feb. 11, 1963, in Frankfort. Eugene died on Aug. 28, 2013.
Becky worked as a cook for Orrville High School and then for Smithville-Western Care Center for a total of 20 years.
Becky most recently attended West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster. She enjoyed arts and crafts and will be remembered for her kind spirit and always having a beautiful smile on her face. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are twin sons, James W. (Renee) Hobson of Fredericktown and Paul “Lee” Hobson of Medina; former daughter-in-law, Taresa (Robert) Peters of Rittman; five grandchildren, Tyler, Nathan, Anna, Nick and Dylan Hobson; Glenn Bachman, who was her faithful companion with whom she shared a home; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Becky was preceded in death by a beloved son, Nathan Eugene Hobson; brother, Larry Joseph Wells; and daughter-in-law, Kayla Hobson.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 21 at Auble Funeral Home, 512 E. Oak St., Orrville. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
