Robert Alleshouse obituary

                        
Robert L. “Bob” Alleshouse Sr., 71, of Dundee, died Feb. 11, 2010, at his residence. Bob was born Dec. 15, 1938, in Wooster, to the late Asa and Sloma Alleshouse. He retired from DSI, Trail, in 2006, was a former member of the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of Believers Assembly Church, Beach City. Surviving are sons, Robert Alleshouse Jr. of Dundee, William J. (Mary) Alleshouse of Dover, Rodney E. Alleshouse and John D. Alleshouse, both of Dundee, and Frank V. (Nancy) Alleshouse of Fresno; daughters, Margaret Ann (Robert) Getchy of Dover, Connie Sue (Paul) Dickerhoof of Strasburg, and Barbara J. (Ronald) Powell of Dundee; 27 grandchildren, including Kristy Dawn Rothacher of the home; 31 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dave Bevington, Roger Bevington, and Jim Bevington, all of Wooster; and sisters, Betty Rudy of Mansfield, Mary Jane Lockard of Apple Creek, Shirley Dellafave of Wooster, Margaret Ann Mann of Dover, and Noreen Fain of Wooster. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn G. Alleshouse, whom he married in 1956; and three grandchildren. Services were held Feb. 15, 2010, at Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek, with Pastor W.G. Cooper officiating. Burial was in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens.
