Shirley L. Mohler, 82, of Wooster, died Jan. 27, 2010, at Wooster Community Hospital. Shirley was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Holmes County, to the late Daniel and Emma Domer. She was a homemaker and had worked in the children’s clothing department of Freedlanders Department Store, Wooster. Surviving are sons, Robert Mohler of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Jack Mohler of Wooster; and siblings, Ken Domer and Larry Domer, both of Shreve, and Richard Domer, Jim Domer, and Carol Grindstaff, all of Wooster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verne Earnest Mohler, whom she married in 1947; and four sisters. Services will be held Feb. 3, 2010, at 11:30 a.m., at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster, with Rev. Ken Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery. Friends will be received an hour and a half prior to services.
