Susan Weaver obituary

                        
Susan Weaver, 87, of Dundee, died peacefully in the loving care of her family in the home of her daughter at North Canton. Born July 11, 1922, in Mt. Hope, Susan was a daughter of the late John and Mary Hershberger. A homemaker her entire life, she found great joy in caring for others whether in preparing large family meals, baking for a neighbor or loved one, or entertaining friends and acquaintances who visited her home. She delighted in spending time in her garden, quilting, reading, and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended Dundee United Methodist Church and more recently Crosspoint United Methodist Church, Jackson Township, with her daughter. Surviving are a son, Ed “Jim” (Doris) Weaver of Strasburg; daughters, Mary (Charles) Frobose of Bucyrus, Ada (Herbert) Robinson of Strasburg, Betty (Richard) Corder of North Canton, and Linda McAllister of Massillon; brother, Isaac Hershberger of Marietta; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ura D. Weaver, whom she married in 1946; brothers, John, Ammon, Monroe, Dan, Jonas, Sam, Henry, and Albert Hershberger; and sister, Katie. Susan will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Dundee Cemetery during a private service.
