Tyler Mason Banton
Tyler Mason Banton, age 19 of North Lawrence, died June 16, 2018, at Summa Akron City Hospital.
Tyler was born Sept. 5, 1998, in Wooster, the son of Tianna (Bucher) and Jason Banton.
Tyler was a 2017 graduate of Smithville High School, where he wrestled and played football. He enjoyed weightlifting and was a member of the Pit Performance Club. He also enjoyed racing and spending time with his family and friends. He was employed at Carmony Stock Farms in Wooster.
Tyler was an organ donor, and through these donations, he gave life to other people.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Tianna Banton of Smithville; father, Jason Banton of Bolivar; sister, Tiarra Banton, and brother, Teegan Banton, both of the home; maternal grandmother, Sharon Smith of North Lawrence; maternal grandfather, Daniel Bucher, Sr. of Bolivar; paternal grandparents, John and Sharon Banton of North Lawrence; and paternal great-grandparents, James and Anna Mae Banton of Orrville and Charles and Sandy Howell of Marshallville.
Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Smith.
Services will be held at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville on Saturday, June 30 at noon. Burial will take place at Newmans Creek Cemetery in North Lawrence.
