The Wooster Music Club, formerly the MacDowell Club, will celebrate its 103rd anniversary with a presentation at The Chapel at West View Healthy Living on Friday, Aug. 18.

                        

The Wooster Music Club, formerly the MacDowell Club, will celebrate its 103rd anniversary with a presentation at The Chapel at West View Healthy Living on Friday, Aug. 18 at 2 p.m. The public is invited to this free event.

Performances will include select duets on the English horn/oboe and clarinet with Annie Gerig and Martha Starkey. Other performances include flute duets performed by Sallie Morton and Margaret Latta and English horn solos performed by Annie Gerig with accompaniment by Myra Leeper on piano. Pianist Stephanie Musselman also will play a selection of pieces on the piano. The About Time vocal trio with Louie Miller, Charlotte Marsh and Joan Swartz with accompaniment by Myra Leeper will include songs from the ‘40s and ‘50s.

To top off the afternoon, Sallie Morton, in the spirit of the game show “Name That Tune,” will engage the audience in participation.

West View Healthy Living is located at 1715 Mechanicsburg Road in Wooster.
