Aspen Racquet Club site of junior tennis tourney
The Aspen Racquet Club in Wooster will host the USTA Spring Junior Open May 20-21 for girls and boys age 18 and under.
The Aspen Racquet Club recently announced it will host the USTA Spring Junior Open May 20-21. The tournament is open to girls and boys age 18 and under.
“We’re thrilled to host the USTA Spring Junior Open and give young players in our community the opportunity to compete against each other and showcase their skills,” said Kent Smith, director of tennis at Aspen Racquet Club. “Our goal is to provide a fun and competitive environment that inspires a lifelong love of tennis and helps players reach their full potential.”
The USTA Spring Junior Open is part of the USTA Midwest Section’s Junior Competition schedule and will count toward players’ USTA rankings.
Registration for the tournament is now open; the entry deadline is May 16. Spectators also are welcome to attend.
