Hawks baseball teams thank local sponsors for support
This past summer, two Hiland baseball teams set sail on a baseball odyssey, one which would take the Hiland Little League Juniors to the state tournament at Maumee, the other which would result in a Hiland Little League Senior state title that would culminate in the team nearly qualifying for the Senior National tournament in Maine. Both teams exemplified the work ethic and behavior during these trips for which Holmes County has become well known, and for which we can be extremely proud. Along the path on both trips, these young men showed that tomorrow’s leaders in Holmes County will be men of courage and character. These opportunities would not have been possible without the support of many whom, while having nothing to do with the game of Little league baseball in itself, saw the value in supporting youth who have chosen to invest a great deal of time and energy into something they believe in.The team members and coaching staffs of the Hiland Junior League and Senior League baseball teams would like to thank the following businesses and individuals who helped sponsor the teams through their generous donations.
