Hometown Outlaw steals the show at Hilltop Speedway
Two drivers from Millersburg won their class races on their hometown track as the Ohio Outlaw Flat Track State Championship Series (OOFTSCS), sponsored by Mid-Ohio Suzuki-Honda-Yamaha-Kawasaki of Mt. Vernon made its first stop of the season at Hilltop Speedway, on Sunday, June 12, following a full night of short track racing at Western Reserve Motorcycle Club the night before.
Riding a Honda, sponsored by Precision Poured Walls, Marvin Troyer of Millersburg took over the lead after one lap in the All Outdoors Outlaw 450 Quad division and never looked back, cruising to victory ahead of Strasburgs Scott Reifenschneider and slicing a few points off of Reifenschneiders season points lead.
Troyer and Reifenschneider each won heat races in the Open Pro Quad division as well, but in the 12-lap feature it was the driver from Strasburg who took the checkered flag, ahead of season points-leader and defending OOFTSCS champion Andrew Hart, who extended his points-lead to 26 over Troyer, with Reifenschneider moving into third place following the win.
