Hanna slam not enough for Knights A first inning grand slam by Kyle Hanna gave the visiting Knights an early advantage, but the Minutemen responded with four runs of their own in the second inning to take the lead and never looked back, posting a 9-5 victory over West Holmes in OCC baseball action Wednesday, May 19, in Lexington. Mason James had two hits and scored twice and Derek Reusser added two hits for the Knights. Steve Thomas singled and Bryce Norman doubled to go with Hanna’s homer to account for all the Knights’ hits. Dustin Carder surrendered five runs on one hit. He walked three and a couple errors did in the lefty on the mound for the Knights. Aaron McKee and Cody Dial worked in relief.
