Lady Knights bomb Rams

Led by a trio of double-digit scorers, West Holmes made quick work of Madison in an Ohio Cardinal Conference clash Thursday, Feb. 11, in Mansfield, winning 64-49. Lindsy Snyder poured in 14 points and ripped down 11 rebounds, including nine offensive boards to lead the assault. Paige Asche and Lindsey Arnold each added 13 points. Asche stroked three 3-pointers for the Lady Knights, who dropped six bombs on the Rams. Jasmine Troyer chipped in seven points and Rachelle Morrison added five. Haley Moniger and Bethany Molnar scored four points apiece, and Mallori Vess and Justice Wright added two each for the winners. West Holmes jumped out to a 17-8 lead after the opening eight minutes of action and stretched its lead to 39-27 at intermission. A 12-6 run in the third quarter put the game out of reach for the Lady Knights, who improved to 10-2 on the season in the OCC, 14-5 overall.
