Mullet and Meyer brothers fall in first match at State tennis tournament
On Friday May 30 two very successful seasons came to an end at the State tennis tournament in Columbus. Hiland's first single Braxton Mullet fell in his first match to Pierre Desprat of Lima Central Catholic 1-6, 0-6. Mullet was the second player in Hiland school history to compete at the State tournament.
In doubles action, the family team of Ethan and Tim Meyer loss 1-6,1-6 to Evan Alexander and Dean Firouzian of Gahana Columbus Academy, also in their first match.
