Sprints set to invade Hilltop Speedway twice in June
                        
A very busy month of racing is set for June at Hilltop Speedway, starting with Saturday, June 2, as the Sprint Cars roll in for a $2,000 to win show. Also that evening, the Modlites will be in action for the first time this season, as both had shows rained out in April. The Holmes Tire Late Models, the Raceday Photos Modifieds, Street Stocks, and the Bugs-R-Gone Trucks will also be in action as the Mini Stocks and Mini Wedges take the night off. The next week, Saturday, June 9, it will be Fan Appreciation Night as all the regular class’ will be going for the Mid-Season Championships along with the first of the Ohio Outlaw Motorsports Quad Shootouts. Then on Friday, June 15, the OOM will take over the speedway with flat track bikes and quads for the first time this year. Regular racing for all six class’ of cars is posted for June 16 and 23. The month of June will close out on Thursday, the 28th, as the Sprints return for the Ohio Outlaw Sprint Speedweek show with a $5,000 to win show. Two years ago when the last Speedweek show was at Hilltop Speedway, hometown driver Rob Chaney won when he passed David Gravel in turn four as the checkered flag waved.
