Two weeks at The Pier
Josh Miller and Jordan Schlabach grabbed the keys and took turns driving Beachy Trucking to double-digit victories, during back-to-back weeks of Summer Adult Basketball League at The Pier action, giving the trucking company sponsored team sole possession of first place, 10 games into the season, at the Pier Lighthouse of Hope in Mt. Eaton.
Miller poured in a game-high 21 points to pace Beachy Trucking to a 68-54 win over East Holmes on Tuesday, August 9, before Schlabach rained down 24 against Kidron, one week later, in an 80-54 thumping, which moved the Sugarcreek-based team to 8-2 on the season, keeping it one full game ahead of Team Ohio (7-3).
Action at The Pier continues on Tuesday, August 23, with game times set for 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
