Waynedale soccer partners with Easter Seals
Waynedale girls soccer is having a fundraiser on Saturday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Waynedale High School. They are partnering with Easter Seals Northern Ohio, so it is a win-win situation for both organizations. They hope to use the money to fund team camps, buy new equipment and purchase warm-ups.
The Easter Seals will be able to use the profits to help children and adults with disabilities. This is a Fill the Truck fundraiser. Items that will be accepted are the following: cloth items, can be torn or stained, which includes blankets, sheets, towels and clothing; small kids toys and games; books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes; pots and pans; silverware; dishes; knickknacks; shoes; purses; and jewelry.
All items must be in a tied, closed bag or box. All donors will even receive a tax deductible receipt. It is a great opportunity to clean out those attics and basements and get rid of unwanted or unused items that are taking up space in the home. This is an open event and all are invited.
