Before voting, look at policies, past results
Letter to the Editor,
A recent political letter in the Wooster Weekly News mentioned an article by The New York Times. In the article, The New York Times listed 91 people and their grievances or concerns about former President Donald Trump. And, the person writing the letter felt that the comments of the people were reason to not vote for Donald Trump.
I disagree with this argument and feel that when deciding who to vote for, the best thing is to look at the candidate’s policies and results. And, in this election, after four years of Trump and then four years of Biden/Harris, it is easy to see the differences their policies have brought.
It seemed strange that The New York Times was so obviously biased against Donald Trump. An honest newspaper would have talked with supporters of Donald Trump, of which there are many. Or would have looked for detractors of President Biden, of which there are many. In looking for detractors of President Biden, we might start by interviewing women who have lost their loved ones due to illegal immigrants.
To make a smart decision for this election, we need to hear both viewpoints. So, remember that there are two sides to every story. Please learn and listen to both sides in your decision for the upcoming election.
