The annual Wooster Alternative Gift Market will be held Dec. 15 from 11:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave., Wooster.

This year’s market will feature 20 projects that provide a helping hand to people throughout the world. There are many options such as water wells in Sudan, Schools for Peace in the Middle East, reforestation in Haiti and more.

Fair trade products will include items from World Crafts in Kidron and fair trade coffee, chocolate and more. Lunch with soups, sandwiches and sweets will be available by donation with proceeds benefiting the area Homeward Bound, a day center/severe weather shelter in Wayne County.

This Wooster Alternative Gift Market is hosted by five area churches: First Presbyterian, St. James Episcopal, Trinity United Church of Christ, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Wayne County and Wooster Mennonite.
