Sonnenberg Mennonite to host 27th maple syrup festival
Sonnenberg Mennonite Church will host its 27th annual Maple Syrup Missions Festival on Saturday, April 26, featuring a pancake and sausage breakfast served from 7-10:30 a.m.
Both dine-in and drive-thru options will be available again this year, with the cost by donation. Those who dine in get an all-you-can-eat experience.
Festivalgoers are encouraged to visit more than 20 informative mission displays set up in the church lobby. Each display represents individuals and organizations supported by the church throughout the year.
Visitors may enter a drawing to win one of three prizes: a quart of Sonnenberg’s maple syrup, 5 pounds of sausage or a $50 dine-out gift card.
The church’s Venture Clubs also will host a bake sale in the lobby. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Canton Lighthouse Ministry’s summer enrichment camp for children.
Sonnenberg Mennonite Church is located at 14367 Hackett Road in Kidron.
