The Dover Tornadoes have won the 14th annual Blood Battle, besting rival New Philadelphia by a total of 10 blood donors. The Blood Battle, sponsored by the Union Hospital blood program and WJER Radio, was held Thursday, Oct. 27, at the YMCA. A investigation of stolen firearms Saturday, Oct. 29 resulted in the arrest of a 23-year-old Rittman man. Wayne County deputies arrested Jeremy Vance for burglary and theft.
