Classy Critters was started in 1995 by Sherry Clinage. Penni Stertzbach became organizational leader in 2010. They currently have 16 members and six Cloverbud members. Members take projects ranging from large market animals to cooking or scrapbooking. The club advisers are Stertzbach, Kay Klein as Cloverbud leader and Dawn and Dale Miller. The officers for the Classy Critters this year are Beth Klein, president; Thane Kaufman, vice president; Jenna Stertzbach, secretary; Bri Akam, treasurer; Hailee Carter, news reporter; Josh Carter, health officer; and Alyssa Bowman, safety officer. The club meets once a month Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. at Cornerstone Community Church. Cloverbuds meet at the same time to do the pledges and are then dismissed. Cloverbuds are taught lessons they can take with them to 4-H through fun crafts and activities. Contributed by Penni Stertzbach.
