Arts center to offer fall classes

Tuition scholarships for children with financial need are available through the Jennifer Hunt Memorial Scholarship.

                        

The Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts announced its 2024 fall enrichment class sessions for children and adults. Full class descriptions and details are available on the center website at www.tuscartcenter.org.

Adult wheel throwing, facilitated by Dee Grossman, will begin Saturday, Sept. 7 and hand-built pottery, facilitated by Melissa Gish, will begin Saturday, Oct. 12.

Children’s classes will begin Monday, Sept. 30. Children’s classes include cartooning, facilitated by Douglas Laubacher; clay hand building, facilitated by Melissa Fox; painting and drawing, facilitated by William Koch; and ballet, facilitated by Shellyn Leeper. All class sessions are five weeks in length.

Tuition scholarships for children with financial need are available through the Jennifer Hunt Memorial Scholarship, and materials funding is provided by the Ohio Arts Council.
