Student wins logo contest
The winner is Bodee Bailey, son of Tyler and Alex Bailey. He is a second-grader at Strasburg.
An art contest was open to Strasburg Elementary students to design a T-shirt for the Rudolph Run 5k and Fun Walk to be held Dec. 14.
The winner is Bodee Bailey, son of Tyler and Alex Bailey. He is a second-grader and received 40 votes for his effort. Maycee Cappon, daughter of Michael and Kelsee Cappon, received second place, and Ellie Harstine was third. She is the daughter of Krista and Josh Harstine. There were 18 entries.
Rudolph Run T-shirts with Bodee’s art design will be available by ordering from the Rudolph Run Facebook page. Call Justin Hite at 330-447-8175.
Christmas in the Village T-shirts can be ordered until Nov. 30 at $15 each. T-shirts will be available for pickup by Dec. 12 at the Tigers Den on South Wooster Avenue. Proceeds from the Christmas in the Village T-shirts will be used toward expenses involved with the event.
