Dr. Patel awarded board certification
Dr. Tushar Patel, of Wooster Internal Medicine, has been awarded board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Board certification requires completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program and passing the certifying exam.According to the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), board certification demonstrates that physicians “have the clinical judgment, skills and attributes essential for the delivery of excellent patient care. ABIM is not a membership society, but a non-profit, independent evaluation organization.”
