All Over Cards opening in Strasburg Sept. 14
All Over Cards will open Sept. 14 at 1126 N. Wooster Ave. in the Valley Center Mall in Strasburg. Owner Josh Dunn said he began a sports card business in the eighth grade. He always had a fascination with sports cards. It was first a hobby, and then he began selling cards. He travels to trade shows in different areas.
“I opened a sports card business on Instagram called All About Cards and have been praying to open a store for several years. The name change to All Over Cards came naturally,” Dunn said. “I offer football, basketball, baseball, some soccer and hockey cards. In all I have about 30,000 cards.
“I just kept looking at all those boxes of cards and what I could do with them. Most of the sports cards are modern and will appeal to all ages, and I cater to any budget. There was nothing in the area like a sports card collection store.”
Dunn also has a display of jerseys signed by the players who wore them, along with some vintage items. Items include a signed Florida Gators helmet signed by Tim Tebow and several other signed football helmets.
Inside the store is memorabilia and signed photos for visitors to view. Tables are available to look at cards and make trades. He spoke about the mystery boxes available for sale and plans to offer trade nights for collectors. There is an 85-inch television and wireless chargers for cellphones. Visitors also can purchase T-shirts for $25. Each shirt has an All Over Cards logo and a Bible verse.
Dunn is currently a youth pastor at the Dover Alliance Church; however, he plans to resign from that position.
The store will open for business on Saturday, Sept. 14 from noon to 6 p.m. Regular hours will begin Sept. 17. Hours will be Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1-6 p.m. The store will be closed Mondays.
