Dover winery receives recognition for being most unique in the state
                        
School House Winery was named number one of the top 10 most unique and exciting wineries to visit in Ohio in a recent article on DiscoverOhio.com, a website operated by the Office of TourismOhio.

Michael Evans, a food and beverage blogger for DiscoveringOhio.com visited many Ohio wineries in 2013 and compiled a list of the top 10 most unique wineries in in the state. The wineries in this article ranged from Northern Ohio to Southern Ohio and were ranked on atmosphere, excitement and wine.

“My favorite discovery is the School House Winery, which was established in an actual schoolhouse from the late 1800s!” wrote Evans. “This bright red structure stands out in the rolling countryside and beckons you inside.” His favorite wine was Bully Red.

School House Winery is a boutique winery located in Dover, Ohio in a 128-year-old renovated one-room schoolhouse, previously known as Oak Grove School #6. Oak Grove School #6 held classes from 1886 to 1941. Dave and Jennifer Jagunic of New Philadelphia now own the schoolhouse.
