Its a party in downtown Millersburg
On Saturday night, Feb. 25 the ladies will take over downtown Millersburg for Girls Night Out.
We have so many exciting vendors coming to town, said Judy Lamp, director of Historic Downtown Millersburg. All the shops that will be open with sales and prizes make for a night of super fun. Dont leave town too early. We have lots of entertainment including karaoke and a live band. Shopping, food, drinks and entertainment make for a great girls night out.
Kevin Hatch is co-owner with his wife Vicki of Bam Bams Backyard BBQ. The new downtown eatery will be part of Girls Night Out for the first time.
We are going to really pamper all the women who come in, Hatch said. We plan to have really nice dinner and drink specials for all the ladies for sure.
The Burg is an official Heritage Ohio Main Street community focused on preserving and revitalizing the downtown area. The eclectic mix of local shops, cafes, pubs, lodging, museums and recreation provides a unique local experience. Many shops offer handcrafted and locally made products.
Lamp said, Well have manis, pedis, paraffin hand dipping, brow waxing, Pampered Chef ... and more.
The Village Toy Shop will have a 10-percent-off special. Everyone attending will be invited to sign up to win prizes from many of the local venues. The grand prize is a Coach purse, which is on display at The Jewelry Store. Both the Hotel Millersburg and Comfort Inn will offer specials for the night for anyone interested in turning the event into a weekend getaway. To receive the special room rate, make sure to mention that the room is being booked as part of Girls Night Out.
Alicia Sheeks, the Tap Room manager at Millersburg Brewing Company, shared the brewerys plans for the upcoming downtown party. We will have vendor tables set up here from Premier Designs Jewelry, Tyra Beauty, Tastefully Simple, Rodan and Fields, and Lula Roe.
The brewery will serve wine and special martinis among other drink favorites. Sheeks said, We can accommodate the tastes and likes of any woman. We will have snack trays available to nibble on with your drinks.
The fun will continue after the shops close. At 8 p.m. we will be starting karaoke, Sheeks said. This is always great fun and a really nice turnout. I love to watch all of the ladies having a good time and cutting loose. I am a single mother of two, so I understand what it means to need a night to yourself with the girlfriends. Life is so stressful. Everyone needs a release.
Girls Night Out in Millersburg is a community effort, a gathering and celebration for all ages. Sheeks said, I love watching this community come together to celebrate women and their drive to be successful with whatever they may be into.
