Solid Rock Photos receives national recognition again
For the third time in four years, Solid Rock Photos of Dover has received national recognition. Friday, Nov. 30, Rachel Ghindea, a senior at Indian Valley High School and a Rockstar Rep for Solid Rock, was selected by Seniors Ignite as a winner in its nationwide model search. Seniors Ignite, which is located in Edmond, Okla., will showcase its winning models at the annual Ignite event, March 3-6, 2013 at the luxurious Paradise Point Resort in San Diego, Calif.
Suzanne Trimmer, owner of Solid Rock Photos, knows what a big deal this is on a number of levels. Having had experiences in the past through the former Senior Portrait Artists event, we knew that the possibility of one of our high school seniors having a chance to be involved in something like Seniors Ignite was too good to pass up. We had a record number of applicants from our studio and were blown away by having four national semi-finalists selected from our entries: Ghindea, Kellan Mutschelknaus from Garaway, Shelby Daugherty from Conotton Valley and Tobias Reichert from New Philadelphia - any of them would have represented themselves, and our studio, well, she noted. We know for sure that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Rachel and we are awfully excited for her. We often say that our clients are the real Rockstars here at Solid Rock Photos, and certainly these high school seniors become a part of the family. Being able to see one of them achieve this is really special.
While taking part in the Ignite event, Ghindea will be a model during photographer training sessions, will take part in a runway fashion show and will be meeting talent agents and scouts as well. She is one of only 35 winners from scores of entries from across the country.
