Faith Lutheran Church scholarship award winners
Faith Lutheran Church, 187 S. Clay St., Millersburg, awards $2,000 college scholarships yearly for undergraduate degrees to members of Faith Lutheran who meet certain criteria. This year’s scholarship recipients are Susan Kandel, LaRainne Mast, Kelsey Menuez, and Kaila Smith.Sue Kandel is the daughter of Wendyl and Marie Kandel and Holly and Crist Troyer, all of Berlin. She is attending Kent State Tuscarawas in New Philadelphia, majoring in communications. She is also the Faith Lutheran Church pianist.
LaRainne Mast is the daughter of Jason and Denise Mast, of Millersburg, and is attending MedCentral College of Nursing in Mansfield.
Kelsey Menuez is the daughter of Kyle and Laurie Menuez, of Millersburg, and is attending the University of Akron, majoring in speech language pathology.
Kaila Smith is the daughter of Andrea Menuez-Smith and Brent Smith, both of Millersburg, and is attending Ashland University, majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry.
