This is the 30th annual presentation of the Night in Bethlehem tour at the Calvary Chapel, 8151 Stuhldreher St. NW, Massillon. The presentation will be held Dec. 7 and 8 and Dec. 14 and 15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

“What began as a humble vision to share the real meaning of Christmas in a new way has become an irreplaceable holiday tradition for many in the surrounding community and beyond. Night in Bethlehem is a family-friendly way to not only hear the Christmas story, but to experience it for yourself,” Rev. Josh Pizor said. “Have you ever wondered what the small town of Bethlehem might have been like on that fateful night? What was it like for Mary and Joseph to make this hectic journey under such difficult circumstances?”

Over the years thousands of people have walked through Night in Bethlehem, and many have gained a new appreciation of a very familiar story while others have heard the message for the first time.

During the walk those attending will meet shepherds who will share what they saw in the night sky, the inn keeper telling them there was no room for a pregnant wife and her husband, and the prophets explaining what the birth of this special child would mean for the world. These and many others will be able to assist those on the voyage as they search for the one some call the Messiah.

“Night in Bethlehem is a ministry that exists for the purpose of glorifying Jesus Christ and blessing all who attend. Our hope is that the night will enhance your celebration of one of the greatest gifts humanity has ever been given. It is a way to introduce children to the true story of Christmas,” Pizor said.

Those attending can visit as an individual, family or as a church group of any size. After the tour those attending can visit and get refreshments. There are no tickets or reservations needed.
