Smithville United Methodist Church will hold a summer Vacation Bible School June 25-26 at the church.

                        

Smithville United Methodist Church, 243 N. Milton St., Smithville, will hold a summer Vacation Bible School, “Knights of North Castle … Quest for the King’s Armor,” June 25-26.

The VBS is for kindergarten through sixth grade. Participants will get two afternoons of Bible-based activities as they discover different parts of God’s armor and explore how each part works in their own life as they follow and serve God. Both sessions will be from 3-6 p.m., with dinner to follow for the whole family.

Register by calling the church office at 330-669-2371 or download the registration form at www.sumc-ohio.org, fill out the form, upload the completed form and email it, mail it or drop it off to Smithville UMC, P.O. Box 375, 243 N. Milton St., Smithville, OH 44677.

Smithville UMC also hosts a community farmers market every Saturday in June, July and August from 9 a.m. to noon. The farmers market will be in the front parking lot of the church facility. Smithville UMC also holds a community hygiene closet for those in need the third Sunday of each month from 4-5 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Call or email the church.

Join the church at Euchre Night on the second, fourth and fifth Friday of each month with the next one June 24 from 7-9 p.m. All ages are welcome.

The facility is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible. Bring an individually wrapped snack to share.
