Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship Church to host youth rally, Oct. 23-24
High school and college youth from all over Ohio and neighboring states are invited to attend a youth rally being hosted by Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship Church, 217 East Third Street, on Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24. Admission to the event is free, and youth will be able to enjoy concerts by Christian rock and worship bands, free food and inspiring messages.No preregistration is required for the youth rally, which will kick-off on Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m., with a concert by Break the Noise, a Christian rock band from Maryland. Following the concert, a message will be provided by Pastor Rigo Figuraro of Miami, Florida.
Events on Saturday begin at 4 p.m., with a concert in the street (inside the church in case of inclement weather) by Polen Band, a Christian contemporary worship band. Additionally, the youth of Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship will present an interpretive dance and two dramas. Pastor Figuraro will present a message of hope at 7 p.m. The youth rally will conclude with food and fellowship on Saturday night.
All youth rally events will take place rain or shine, and free food will be provided throughout the rally. “We would really like to see youth from all over attend this event, to come together and build friendships and get closer to God,” explained Michelle Miller, youth rally coordinator and church youth member. “We see this event as an outreach to our generation to give them hope.”
