On Nov. 13, the Fort Laurens Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met at 12:30 p.m. in the Union Country Club at Dover.
The chapter meets the second Saturday of each month.
Lunch was served followed by the meeting. The chapter discussed what would be needed for the December program, Remembering Our Elders. Members volunteered to bring items for the project.
After the benediction, some members stayed to fill the boxes for our November project, Operation Christmas Child. Fifteen boxes were filled and wrapped. It was mentioned that the number of boxes filled had nearly doubled from the year before.
