Grand opening to be held Dec. 3 at new historical society location

The Mount Eaton/Paint Township Historical Society is planning a grand opening at the new location at 15966 East Main St. (next to the bank), which used to be Rudys Store. The new location will be open during the towns Moonlight Sale from noon to 8 p.m. and the grand opening will be Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with refreshments served. A member of the society will also show a number of nativity scenes.
The last meeting was Sept. 26 with an interview with Carl Garber Stroh. She is proud of the fact that four generations of her family have attended Mt. Eaton School.
The next meeting will be Nov. 28 at the town hall at 7:30 p.m. For the program, Jim Matter will be interviewed.
