Holmes County Christian Ladies meet

The Holmes County Christian Ladies’ Fellowship recently met at the Welcome Church of Christ. President Pat Stocker reported that in July, the group had sent 225 pairs of tennis shoes to families in Appalachia through the Mountain Vision program. This month’s mission project is supplying the five elementary schools in the West Holmes District with boxes of school supplies for needy families. For November, the group will be packing goodie boxes to send to Holmes County servicemen and women stationed overseas. Names are to be turned in by Nov. 7. The next meeting will be Nov. 23 at Holmesville Church of Christ.
