Library services subject of discussion at NARFE meeting

When the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), Chapter 2218, met Thursday, April 8, they heard about the Wayne County Library and all the services the library offers. Speaker for the day was Teresa Jager of the Dalton Branch Library. During a brief business meeting the group was reminded that they will be selling sandwiches at Buehler’s in August. They were also told that AARP offers a free tax preparation service. Dick Becker reminded the group that the Reconciliation Bill HR4872 has no immediate changes for those in the FEHBP. The next meeting will be held May 13, at Ryan’s Steak House. The program will be a recap of the state convention.
