The Holmes County 4-H Shooting Sports Club met at the Eastern Holmes Sportsmen Club on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Programs and community service projects for 2011 were discussed. The club won Honor Club, second place Heart Award, and second place Clover Award for 2010.
Certificates were handed out to club members and advisors for years of service in the 4-H program.
Disciplines for the day were shotgun/trap shooting, archery, shotgun shell reloading, and sighting in a slug barrel.
The next meeting will be in March 2011, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Eastern Holmes Sportsmen Club.
