Tree farmer to lend oil and gas insights at ECOFA meeting

Ron Carlton will be the featured speaker at the August 6, 8 pm. meeting of the East Central Ohio Forestry Association. Carlton, a tree farmer in Carroll County, has been involved in multiple phases of landowner group leasing and will present his experiences and insights on the trends in the Utica shale development. ECOFA is an organization of persons interested in improving their woodlands and in forestry-related topics. The public is invited to attend the free meetings which are held monthly at McDonald-Marlite Lewis Conference Center, 143 McDonald Drive NW in New Philadelphia.
