Buckeye Career Center will host Pancakes with Parents on Thursday, Jan. 18 from 7:45-8:45 a.m. for the parents and guardians of current BCC students.

The event allows family members to have breakfast with their students on a school day and also visit their students’ labs. Each family will receive a complimentary gift for attending, a commemorative photo and a meal for each person in attendance. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage patties and a drink.

“This event allows parents to see their students during a school day and interact with their lab classmates, some of whom the parents might not have met due to that student being from a different partner school district,” BCC public relations coordinator Shyanne Carroll said. “We love to see the students interacting with their parents and showing off the school that they are proud to attend. It’s a really great morning for everyone at BCC.”

To accommodate the crowd, parents are asked to fill the BCC parking lots or park across the street at the Kent State University Performing Arts Center. BCC will provide shuttle buses to transport family members to and from BCC throughout the event.

Parents/guardians who plan to attend are asked to RSVP to principal’s secretary Julie Beaber at 330-339-2288 ext. 1221 or email her at jbeaber@buckeyecareercenter.org.
