HCECF awards scholarships
Recently, the Holmes County Education & Community Foundation announced $246,575** in new scholarships for the 2022-23 academic year. Additionally, $388,385** was available to renewing scholarship recipients. Award amounts vary according to need and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
HCECF has been encouraging further education for Holmes County residents by awarding more than $10.7 million in scholarships and grants to over 2,700 students since 1991.
HCECF has selected the following first-year applicants to receive scholarships. The recipients and their scholarship awards are listed below:

The scholarship application period for the 2023-24 academic year will begin in January. Scholarship applications will be made available through the foundation’s website at www.hcef.net.
