New Philadelphia City Schools kindergarten registration underway

Kindergarten registration is underway and forms are available online by accessing the New Philadelphia City Schools Web site at www.np schools.org.
Students who are 5 years of age on or before August 1 will be eligible.
After completing the forms, call the school the child will be attending by March 1 to schedule a screening appointment. Kindergarten screening will be held at the Tuscora Park Pavilion on the following dates: York Elementary, March 15; West Elementary, March 17; East Elementary, March 19; South Elementary, March 23; Central Elementary, March 24.
The following information will be needed at the screening: Completed registration forms, original birth certificate, childs social security card, immunization records, legal documents (if any), and proof of residence. Doctor and dentist forms need turned in by the first day of school.
