Registration now open at area Catholic schools
Registration for the 2022-23 school year is underway for all classes from preschool to grade 12 at the Tuscarawas County Catholic Schools.
The Tuscarawas County Catholic Schools include Tuscarawas Central Catholic Jr/Sr High School in New Philadelphia, Immaculate Conception School in Dennison and Tuscarawas Central Catholic Elementary School in Dover. The elementary schools house students from preschool through sixth grade.
“We encourage families interested in preschool and prekindergarten classes to register early because those classes usually fill up very quickly,” said Matt Ritzert, principal of the elementary schools.
Immaculate Conception and Central Catholic Elementary also are accepting registrations for all other grade levels including kindergarten. Kindergarten screening programs will be held in the spring.
“Families interested in learning more are encouraged to call any one of the schools and schedule a visit,” Ritzert said. “We welcome the opportunity to talk with families about their options and the availability of scholarship opportunities such as the Ohio EdChoice Program.”
Tuscarawas Central Catholic Jr/Sr High School includes grades 7-12.
“Our schools offer a safe and welcoming environment and excellent academic programs centered on the teaching of Jesus Christ. With small classes and dedicated teachers, our students get the help they need to succeed,” junior/high school principal Jennifer Calvo said.
More information about registration at all three schools is available at www.Be-A-Saint.org. Applications and registration forms are available in the school offices or on the school websites.
