Quota of Wayne County recently installed new classroom amplification systems at Kean Elementary School in Wooster.

The classroom amplification systems installed at Kean were provided by Quota because of a $5,000 donation from Jay and Kay Dodaro of Star Strategies. Star Strategies, located in Wooster, is made up of financial professionals who help individuals and families achieve their ideal retirements. They also believe in giving back to the community, and the donation for the voice amplification systems to Quota was a way to show their support.

The classroom amplification systems help to make the teachers’ voices louder and clearer. The systems also enhance student performance, suppress background noise, and provide help for students with attention difficulties, processing issues and hearing loss.

Last year Quota of Wayne County helped 45,604 students by providing voice amplification systems to various schools throughout Wayne County. Quota’s mission is to provide services to the deaf and hard of hearing, to assist those with speech problems, and to aid disadvantaged women and children in Wayne County. More information on Quota’s other services can be found at www.quotaofwaynecounty.org.
