Seniors able to take classes at HCHEC

                        
Senior citizens can attend classes free at the University of Akron Wayne College Holmes County Higher Education Center in Millersburg. The Sixty-Plus Program waives tuition and general service fees for individuals aged 60 and beyond who wish to audit classes.
Participants can register for up to three undergraduate courses per semester. They must fulfill any necessary prerequisite courses and/or have the instructor’s permission. Sixty-Plus Program students are responsible for paying lab fees and textbooks.
Interested individuals should contact the Holmes Center at 330-674-2514 or e-mail HolmesCenter@uakron.edu. The center, located at 88-B E. Jackson St., will be closed for the holiday beginning and will re-open Monday, Jan. 4 at 8 a.m.
