Team pride on parade
As the Wooster High School Marching Band lead the way, Wooster Generals of all ages showed their team pride as they made their way down Oldman Road for the annual Wooster High School Homecoming parade Sept. 21.
Joining the Wooster High School varsity, junior varsity and freshman football teams and cheerleaders were their counterparts from Edgewood Middle School and players, cheerleaders and coaches from both the Wooster Youth Instructional Football League and the Wooster Youth Flag Football Association.
Cars bearing the members of the 2011 Wooster High School Homecoming Royal Court joined floats crafted by the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes and the Drama Club and floats for the high schools fall sports line up including cross country, golf, volleyball, soccer and tennis.
After the parade the fans made their way to Follis Field for a pep rally featuring the introduction of the senior captains of the fall sports teams and the members of the Homecoming Royal Court, the awarding of best float honors and a tug of war competition.
