Wayne County Schools Career Center to hold parent-teacher conferences

The Wayne County Schools Career Center will host parent-teacher conferences on Thursday, Feb. 11, at the school from 4-8 p.m. Parents of all career center students are encouraged to attend, and appointments with individual teachers are not necessary. A map and list of academic teacher locations have been sent to parents in the mail, and extras will be available at the front of the school. Parents of teaching professions students should go to the log cabin at the University of Akron Wayne College, and parents of exercise science and sports medicine students to the classroom at Wooster High School. Parents should bring their son or daughter’s schedule to the conferences, or get it on progress book in the Technology Resource Center before visiting the academic teachers. Bring usernames and passwords to get the schedule at the career center. There will be no school on Friday, Feb. 12, or Monday, Feb. 15, for Presidents Day. The career center is located at 518 W. Prospect St. in Smithville. For more information or directions to the school, call 330-669-7000 or go to www.wcscc.org.
