Zip in for HCHEC open house

Earning a college degree is not something that everyone can picture themselves doing. The University of Akron Wayne College Holmes County Higher Education Center in Millersburg will hold an open house on Monday, March 22, from 6-7:30 p.m., to encourage people to picture themselves as successful college students. Anyone wanting information about starting or returning to college is encouraged to stop by. Light refreshments will be served. Visitors literally can have their photo taken with a large Zippy stand-up to “picture” themselves with the University of Akron mascot. Photos are free and can be used as a coupon for $15 off the application fee when new students are ready to apply.
