NewPointe Community Church is excited to offer GriefShare, a seminar and support group for people experiencing grief and loss. GriefShare is a weekly, 13-session video seminar featuring some of the nations foremost experts on grief recovery topics.
Every time we offer GriefShare, we continually hear this seminar described as a place where many people can begin putting their lives back together again, said Chad Stutzman, pastor of care. Weve found that approaching grief with a support group is a very helpful and healthy way to deal with loss.
Each seminar is combined with a grief-support group discussion time to allow participants to talk about the content of the seminar and about how they are dealing with the death of their loved one.
Topics include When Your Dreams Fall Apart, The Seasons of Grief, Emotions of Grief, When Your Spouse Dies, and Your Family and Grief. GriefShare will be held every Tuesday, at 7 p.m., beginning Jan. 12 through April 6.
