Freeman L. and Anna L. Miller of Walnut Creek celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 28 with a special dinner with their children and grandchildren.
The former Anna Keim and Freeman Miller were married on Aug. 28, 1955, by Bishop Harry Stutzman at Maple Grove Mennonite Church in Hartville. Anna Miller is the daughter of the late Levi and Catherine Keim of Hartville, and Freeman Miller is the son of the late Lester B. and Ida Miller of Sugarcreek.
The couples children and their spouses are Ray and Jolene Miller, Marlin and Paula Miller, and Michael and Carol Miller, all of Sugarcreek, Gary and Christine Miller of Baltic, and Ronald Miller of the home. Ten grandchildren complete the family.
Anna Miller retired last year from Millers Dutch Kitchen in Baltic after more than 41 years of service. Freeman Miller retired in 2000 after 43 years at Belden Brick Company in Sugarcreek. The couple are members of Berlin Christian Fellowship.
